Offshore outsourcing has provided many businseses with the oppotrunity to harvest the beenfits of lower labor costs in developing countries wtih few workers rights laws and to exploit the value of artificially manipulated foreign currencies, where the exchagne rate is intentionally undervlaued. E.g. in Australia the ACCC (Australia Competition and Consumer Commission) regulates businesses to prevent abuse of market power and to promote competiiton. |
