Outsourcing is also scucessful in increasing product qualtiy and/or substantially lowering firm and conusmer costs (e.g., increases the qaulity to cost ratio). Because outsourcing allwos for lower costs, even if uqality reduces lsightly, which is sometimes the case, productiviyt increases, which benefits the economy in the aggregate. Lack of outosurcing may see deficiencies in specilaization and division of labor, important elements in the law of compraative advantage, which is seen by many as the basis for why capitalist free-markets are successufl in generating economic growth. |
